The Chemistry department at Bournemouth School strives to provide a quality education to all students. Emphasis is placed on academic rigor and practical skills to appreciate the nature and application of chemistry in the world today. Chemistry and science occupies a pivotal role in our society and culture. It is in part responsible for many of the items we take for granted, from perfumes to the exploration of oceans or the planets, chemistry is part of our world. Imparting the necessary skills, curiosity and training to our students is of priority.
